Uninstall Overshow
Remove Overshow completely with the signed uninstaller, or by hand, including local data and macOS privacy grants.

Overshow keeps everything on your Mac, so uninstalling is also entirely local: nothing needs deleting from a server beyond signing out. There are two routes.
The Signed Uninstaller (Recommended)
Download the uninstaller from your account's devices page. It is a small signed and notarised installer package that performs the removal when you run it. The account page only shows the download once your release track has published that package.
It removes:
- the Overshow app from Applications
- the local database, logs, and downloaded models under
~/Library/Application Support/Overshow/ - browser state, caches, preferences, and LaunchAgents
- macOS privacy grants (Screen Recording, Accessibility, Microphone) and keychain entries for your user
It also sends a best-effort uninstall signal so your account reflects the removal, and opens a short feedback page if a session is still available. You will be asked to confirm before anything is deleted.
If the download link is not visible on your devices page yet, your release track has not published the uninstaller — use the manual route below.
Manual Removal
- Quit Overshow from the menu bar.
- Drag Overshow.app from Applications to the Bin.
- Delete the support directory:
~/Library/Application Support/Overshow/. This contains the encrypted database, logs, and models. Removing it before a reinstall makes the next launch behave as a fresh install and asks you to sign in again. - Optionally clear the privacy grants: open System Settings, then Privacy & Security, and remove Overshow from Screen Recording, Accessibility, and Microphone.
After Uninstalling
Your subscription is not cancelled by uninstalling. Manage billing from your account page, and see Troubleshooting if you are removing the app to fix a problem — a reinstall with a fresh support directory resolves most broken states.
