One signed installer and a short setup, with nothing captured until you choose to start. Here is the whole process on macOS and on Windows.
On the Mac, four steps.
Step 1
Sign in and download
After access and entitlement have been arranged, sign in at app.over.show; the notarised Mac installer is available from your account when downloads are open.
Step 2
Install and open
Open the download, follow its steps to put Overshow in Applications, and launch it from there. The app is signed and notarised so macOS can verify it before opening.
Step 3
Grant permissions
One setup screen asks for Screen Recording and Accessibility, both required for capture. Microphone access is needed for optional meeting audio transcription. macOS can require an app restart after Screen Recording, and setup returns to the same point.
Step 4
Start capturing
The primary action enables once the required grants are in place. Choosing it saves the default capture policy and opens the app ready for the working day.
On Windows, three steps.
Step 1
Sign in and download
After access and entitlement have been arranged, sign in at app.over.show; we provide the signed Windows installer directly while we finish its rollout.
Step 2
Run the installer
Run the MSI as your normal user account, and only an installer from your account or sent to you by us. Before you continue, check that the publisher reads sandigital.uk (San Digital Limited). If Windows shows an unknown publisher, an invalid signature or any other name, stop and contact us. If SmartScreen warns only about a new publisher reputation and the publisher is correct, choose More info, then Run anyway.
Step 3
Sign in and start capturing
Read-only screen capture through UI Automation needs no system permission grants. Choose your capture policy and start; capture and search run on the consultant's computer.
Good to know before you start.
Setup is deliberately boring. Nothing is captured until onboarding completes, and the optional pieces stay optional. On the Mac, every grant can be changed later in System Settings; on Windows there are no system grants to manage.

Overshow runs on macOS 26 (Tahoe) or later on Apple silicon, and on Windows 11 (x86_64). Capture and local storage work on both platforms. See system requirements for current hardware and permission details.

Once access is arranged, setup takes a few minutes and your captured work stays on this device. If anything blocks you, a person answers within a working day.
