Installation

Overshow is designed to be straightforward for individuals and manageable for IT teams.

If you do not yet have access, start here:

Quick start

  1. Get access for your account or pilot group.
  2. Download the latest installer for your operating system.
  3. Install and sign in with your work email.
  4. Confirm capture and privacy settings.
  5. Run your first day and review the generated summary before sharing.

macOS guide

  1. Download the DMG package.
  2. Drag Overshow to Applications and open it.
  3. Allow the requested permissions:
    • Screen Recording
    • Microphone (optional, if audio capture is enabled)
    • Accessibility (optional, for richer context support)
  4. Complete setup and choose your default capture rules.

Windows guide

  1. Download the signed MSI installer.
  2. Run the installer with standard or managed deployment policy.
  3. Grant the required capture permissions when prompted.
  4. Sign in and apply your organisation's policy defaults.
